Recovery at rehabilitation plan ng pamahalaan sa COVID-19 nakasalalay sa 2021 national budget

Kinakalampag ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang Kongreso na tiyaking maipapasa sa tamang oras ang 2021 national busget na aabot sa P4.5 trillion.

Ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexi Nograles, nakasalalay kasi sa susunod na budget ang response, recovery, rehabilitation program ng pamahalaan sa COVID-19.

Sa ngayon, welcome aniya sa Palasyo ang pagkakaapruba ng budget sa House committee on appropriation.

Hindi aniya kakayanin ng pamahalaan na muling ma delay na naman ang pondo dahil walang magagastos sa mga proyekto na susuporta sa pagbangon ng ekonomiya ng bansa.

“Mula sa executive branch at gaya ng sinabi ni Pangulo, mas gusto po naming na agad agad na ma approve yung budget. Halimbawa yung budget for 2021. Dahil ayaw po natin maulit na magkaroon ng delays sa budget. Lalong lalo na ngayong panahon ng pandemya dahil umaasa po ang gobyerno sa budget na yan, lalong lalo na for 2021 kasi diyan po nakasalalay lahat ng mga programs at activities ng ating government for 2021,” ayon kay Nograles.

Nakasalalay din aniya sa 2021 budget ang pag responde sa edukasyon, kalusugan, transportasyon at pang imprastraktura.

Kapag na delay aniya ang budget, tiyak na madi delay din ang implementasyon ng mga proyekto.
