VP Robredo, walang nakikitang rason para ipagpaliban ang 2022 elections
Walang nakikitang rason si Vice President Leni Robredo na ipagpaliban ang May 2022 elections.
Pahayag ito ni Robredo sa hirit ni Pampanga Congressman Mikey Arroyo na ipagpaliban ang eleksyon dahil sa banta sa COVID-19.
Ayon kay Robredo, kung nakaya ng pamahalaan na buksan na sa publiko ang Manila Bay white sand beach, mas walang dahilan para hindi ituloy ang halalan sa 2022.
Marapat lamang aniya na ituloy ang eleksyon para mabigyang kapangyarihan ang mga botante na makapili ng susunod na lider ng bansa.
“If they can open Manila Bay, they can open Boracay Island to tourists again, there is absolutely no reason for them to say the 2022 elections need to be postponed,” pahayag ni Robredo.
