P6.5-M halaga ng smuggled na sigarilyo, nasabat sa Malabon

Nasamsam ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang mga pekeng branded at smuggled na sigrailyona nagkakahalaga ng P6.5 milyon.
Ayon kay BOC Commissioner Leonardo Guerrero, natunton ang mga pekeng sigarilyo matapos salakayin ang isang warehouse sa Barangay Tugatog sa Malabon City.
Gayunman, hindi pa matukoy ng BOC kung sino ang may-ari ng warehouse.
Ipagpapatuloy naman ng BOC ang pagsasagawa ng operasyon sa laban sa mga ilegal na kontrabando para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng mga pekeng produkto sa merkado.
