P18.3-M halaga ng mga pekeng produkto, nasamsan ng BOC

Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs – Port of Manila (BOC-POM) ang P18.3 milyong halaga ng mga undeclared at pekeng produkto noong September 24.

Ayon sa ahensya, dumating ang kargamento mula Vietnam noong September 12, 2020 at naka-consign sa Crimsonguard Trading.

Base sa inisyal na ulat, hindi tugma ang nilagay ng exporter sa listahan ng mga kagamitan.

Nakatanggap pa ng derogatory information ang Port Control Office (PCO) sa ilalim ng Intelligence Group na naglalaman ng herbal powder at counterfeit apparels ang kargamento.

Sa isinagawang physical examination, natagpuan ng Customs Examiner ang whitening herbal powder, pekeng Lacoste wearing apparel, Vans at Converse branded shoes at undeclared na iba’t ibang dried tea.

Naglabas si District Collector Michael Angelo Vargas ng Warrant  of Seizure and Detention laban sa kargamento dahil sa paglabag sa Section 1400, na may kinalaman sa Section 1113 “Property Subject Seizure and Forfeiture” ng CMTA.
