220,000 na OFWs nakauwi na sa kani-kanilang pamilya ayon sa OWWA

Aabot sa 220,000 na repatriated overseas Filipino workers ang nakauwi na sa kani-kanilang amilya.

Batay ito sa datos ng Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).

Ayon kay OWWA Administrator Hans Cacdac, 70,000 hanggang 80,000 na OFWs pa ang inaasahang darating pa sa bansa.

Lahat ng umuuwing OFWs ay inaasistihan ng pamahalaan sa pamamagitan ng OWWA sa pag-uwi sa kani-kanilang mga bayan.

Dahil papalapit na ang Christmas season sinabi ni Cacdac na maaring madagdagan pa angbilang ng mga pauwing OFWs.
