Ligtas na nakauwi ng Iloilo City ang 40 locally stranded individuals, araw ng Martes (September 22).
Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), nagmula ang 40 LSIs sa Lungsod ng Maynila.
Sakay ang mga LSI ng BRP Lapu-Lapu (MMOV-5001) pauwi sa Iloilo City.
Sinabi ng PCG na ang naturang transport mission ay bahagi ng kontribusyon ng ahensya sa “Hatid Tulong Initiative” ng gobyerno na layong ligtas na maihatid sa kani-kanilang probinsya ang LSIs sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.
