Bagong Control Gulfstream Aircraft dumating na sa bansa
Dumating na sa bansa ang brand new na G280 aircraft na gawa ng Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation sa Dallas, Texas.
Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), ang G280 aircraft ay bahagi ng acquisition project sa ilalim ng Revised Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Modernization Program.
Papalit ito sa luma nang aircraft na ginagamit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at iba pang mataas na opisyal ng bansa sa mga emergency cases.
Binili ng Philippine Air Force ang G280 sa ilalim ng foreign military sales program ng U.S. Government.
Pinangunahan ng PAF ang commissioning sa G280 sa isang seremonya sa Clark Air Base sa Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Sa inaugural flight ng eroplano, lulan nito ang mga opisyal mula sa COVID Interagency Task Force (IATF) para sa pandemic-related assessment trip.
