Mahigit 1,500 na Overseas Filipinos nakauwi sa bansa nitong weekend

Nitong nagdaang weekend patuloy ang repatriation ng mga Overseas Filipinos mula sa mga bansang naapektuhan ng pandemya ng COVID-19.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), kabilang sa mga umuwi ay ang 280 na overseas Filipinos mula sa Muscat City sa Oman.

Mayroon ding mahigit 500 overseas Filipinos na galing Saudi Arabia ang dumating sa NAIA lulan ng dalawang magkahiwalay na flights.

Sakay naman ng DFA-facilitated flight galing sa UAE ay dumating sa bansa ang mahigit 250 overseas Filipinos.

Habang 200 pa na OFs mula sa Qatar ang nakauwi na sa bansa at 250 naman mula sa Turkey.

Kahapon mayroon ang 32 na stranded Filipinos ang dumating sa bansa sakay ng special chartered flight galing sa Myanmar.
