Apat na fighter planes mula sa Brazil dumating na sa bansa

Natanggap na ng bansa ang apat na unit ng Close Air Support Aircraft (A-29 Super Tucano) mula sa Brazil.

Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs, bahagi ito ng pagpapaigting ng defense cooperation sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Brazil.

Apat na fighter planes ay dumating na sa Clark International Airport at dalawa ang inaasahang darating pa sa mga susunod na linggo.

Ang A-29B Super Tucano aircraft ay idinisenyo para sa light attack, close air support, counter-insurgency, at aerial reconnaissance missions.

Ang mga aircraft ay gawa ng Brazilian aerospace conglomerate na Embraer SA, na third largest producer ng civil aircraft sa buong mundo.
