Ayon kay Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Internal Revenue Deputy Commissioner Arnel Guballa na tuloy pa rin ang kanilang pangongolekta ng buwis sa operasyon ng POGO, service providers at sa kanilang mga empleyado.
Matatandaang maraming sektor na ang bumabatikos sa operasyon ng POGO dahil sa hindi pagbabayad ng tamang buwis pati na ang magagaspang na pag-uugali ng mga Chinese worker.
