BuCor spokesperson Gabriel Chaclag, nagpositibo sa COVID-19
Tinamaan ng COVID-19 ang tagapagsalita ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) na si Gabriel Chaclag.
Batay sa inilabas na pahayag ng BuCor sa Facebook, sumailalim si Chaclag sa swab test noong Martes.
Araw ng Sabado, September 19, lumabas na positibo sa nakakahawang sakit si Chaclag.
Nakasailalim na sa quarantine si Chaclag na nakararanas ng mild symptoms.
Ayon sa BuCor, ang pag-anunsiyo nito ay layong abisuhan ang lahat ng personnel at staff na posibleng nakasalamuha si Chaclag simula noong nakaraang linggo na bumisita sa Directorate for Health Sevices (DHS) para sa assessment at swab testing.
“This is also to inform other stakeholders, partners from the media and NGOs who might have been exposed to seek immediate medical advice,” ayon pa sa ahensya.
“Two more personnel who are close in staff of the DG earlier tested positive for Covid19 virus. Hence, the DG has also undergone RT-PCR test and awaiting result by Monday,” dagdag pa ng BuCor.
