Isang metrong physical distancing sa public transport, muling mahigpit na ipatutupad

Istriktong ipatutupad muli ang isang metrong physical distancing sa mga pampublikong transportasyon, ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Ito ay kasunod ng desisyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ibalik sa isang metro ang distanysa ng bawat pasahero mula sa dating 0.75 meters.

“The President has spoken. We shall aggressively comply and strictly enforce the 1-meter physical distancing in all public transport as envisioned and mandated,” pahayag ng DOTr.

Kasunod nito, inanunsiyo ng pamunuan ng Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) na ibabalik sa 153 pasahero ang papayagang makasakay sa isang train set o 51 pasahero sa kada bagon.

Tiniyak naman nito na patuloy pa ring ipatutupad ang health and safety protocols sa mga istasyon at sa loob ng mga bagon ng tren.
