Sahod, benepisyo ng contact tracers ibigay na – Sen. Hontiveros

Nanawagan si Senator Risa Hontiveros sa DOH na ibigay na sa mga government medical and health frontliners ang hindi na nila natatanggap na suweldo at benepisyo.

Ginawa ni Hontiveros ang apila base sa mga naglabasang ulat na marami pa sa contractual contact tracers ang hindi pa nakaka-suweldo at nabibigyan ng benepisyo simula nang sila ay magtrabaho apat na buwan na ang nakakalipas.

“The best way we can thank our frontliners is to ensure that they receive all the proper salaries and benefits due to them under the law. Ibigay natin ang sweldo at proteksyon na nararapat para sa ating mga health worker bilang pagkilala sa kanilang kabayanihan at sakripisyo,” aniya.

Nabatid din na ilang medical workers sa mga public medical facilities, kasama na ang Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, ang hindi pa nabibigyan ng hazard pay.

Suhestiyon ng senadora madaliin ng DOH ang proseso para hindi na maantala ang suweldo at benepisyo ng health workers at magdulot pa ng demoralisasyon.
