San Juan LGU naglagay ng bicycle, motorcyle lanes

Naglagay ang San Juan goverment ng modified bike lanes at dedicated motorcycle lanes sa lungsod.

Pinangunahan ni Mayor Francis Zamora ang paglulunsad nito, araw ng Huwebes, September 17.

Inilagay ang bicycle at motorcycle lanes sa bahagi ng Ortigas Avenue.

“Ang iniisip natin dito ‘yung kaligtasan ng mga nagbibisikleta lalo na ngayong panahon ng COVID-19, alam naman natin na hindi pa rin full operations ang ating public transportation at maraming nawalan ng trabaho so marami talaga ang bumibili ng bisikleta para hindi na sila gumastos sa pamasahe,” pahayag ng alkalde.

Nagtalaga naman ng police bike patrollers upang mapaigting ang pagpapatupad ng health protocols sa lungsod.

Kargado rin ang police bike patrollers ng body camera.
