Nadagdagan ng 72 ang bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa Eastern Visayas.
Naitala ang mga bagong kaso mula sa 993 laboratory samples na sinuri ng EVRCTC at DWHVL.
Sa datos ng Department of Health (DOH) – Eastern Visayas hanggang 8:00, Miyerkules ng gabi (September 16), 3,957 na ang confirmed COVID-19 cases sa probinsya.
Sa nasabing bilang, 565 o 14.28 porsyento ang aktibong kaso.
Marami ring residente ang gumaling pa sa nakakahawang sakit.
Bunsod nito, umabot na sa 3,352 o 84.71 porsyento ang total recoveries sa Eastern Visayas.
