Sa inilabas na pahayag, ang hakbang ay dahil sa mga ipinatutupad na extended community quarantines bunsod ng patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso at epekto ng Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) sa bansa.
Ayon pa sa PRC, ito ay para matiyak na rin ang kaligtasan ng PRC examinees.

• Dental Hygienists Licensure Examination – Written (November 24, 2020)
• Dental Hygienists Licensure Examination – Practical (November 25, 2020)
• Dentists Licensure Examination – Written (December 2 – 4, 2020)
• Dentists Licensure Examination – Practical (December 15 – 22, 2020)
• Dental Technologists Licensure Examination – Written (December 7, 2020)
• Dental Technologists Licensure Examination – Practical (December 8 – 9, 2020)
• Licensure Examination for Radiologic Technologists and X-ray Technologists (December 10 – 11, 2020)

Sa taong 2021 na irere-schedule ang mga nakanselang exam.
Sinabi pa ng PRC na antabayan ang kanilang mga susunod na anunsiyo kung kailangan ang magiging schedule ng mga apektadong licensure examinations sa kanilang website at social media accounts.
