Bilang ng mga naisailalim sa COVID-19 test ng Red Cross mahigit 800,000 na
Sa loob ng limang buwan, umabot na sa mahigit 800,000 katao ang naisailalim sa COVID-19 test ng Philippine Red Cross.
Ayon kay Red Cross Chairman, Senator Richard Gordon, 26 percent ng total tests na naisagawa sa bansa ay sa Red Cross ginawa.
Sinabi ni Gordon na mula noong April 14 hanggang kahapon, Sept. 15 ay umabot na sa 800,315 ang total tests na naisagawa ng Red Cross.
Ang Red Cross aniya ang may pinakamalaking pasilidad para sa COVID-19 testing sa iba’t ibang mga rehiyon sa bansa.
Sinabi ng Senador na napakalaking bagay ng COVID-19 testing sa laban ng bansa kontra sa naturang sakit.
“We are the biggest testing facility, practically in all the regions in the country. Getting tested is very vital in unmasking our enemy and achieving victory over the virus,” ayon kay Gordon.
Tiniyak ni Gordon na magpapatuloy ang pagtulong ng Red Cross sa pamahalaan bilang bahagi ng international humanitarian organization.
