LPA, posibleng maging bagyo sa susunod na 12 oras

Nakatawid na ang binabantayang low pressure area (LPA) sa Southern Luzon.

Ayon kay PAGASA weather specialist Ariel Rojas, huling namataan ang LPA sa layong 75 kilometers Hilaga Hilagang-Kanluran ng Coron, Palawan bandang 3:00 ng hapon.

Malaking bahagi aniya ng bansa ang makararanas ng pag-ulan bunsod ng nasabing sama ng panahon.

Posible aniyang lumakas ang LPA at maging isang ganap na bagyo o Tropical Depression sa susunod na 12 oras.

Oras na maging bagyo, tatawagin na itong “Leon.”

Ayon pa kay Rojas, maaaring magtaas ng Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal sa ilang bahagi ng MIMAROPA dahil malapit pa ito sa kalupaan.

Kapag naging bagyo, malaki aniya ang tsansa na mapalakas nito ang Habagat.

Umiiral aniya ang Southwest Monsoon o Habagat sa bahagi ng Palawan, Visayas at Mindanao.

Sa direksyon nitong pa-Kanluran, inaasahang lalabas ito ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), Miyerkules ng hapon (September 16).
