DOJ may paglilinaw sa rekomendasyon ng Task Force PhilHealth laban sa mga opisyal nito
Sasailalim pa sa preliminary investigation ang mga opisyal ng PhilHealth na inirekomendang masampahan ng reklamo ng Task Force PhilHealth.
Paglilinaw ito ng Department of Justice (DOJ) matapos ang pahayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon na sampahan ng mga kasong kriminal at administratibo ang mga opisyal ng PhilHealth.
Sa pahayag sina ni DOJ Usec. Markk Perete na ang rekomendasyon ng Task Force na pinamumunuan ng DOJ ay sampahan ng reklamo ang mga opisyal ng PhilHealth.
Ibig sabihin aniya ay sasailalim pa sa preliminary investigation ang mga opisyal bago matukoy kung isasampa sa korte ang mga kaso.
Sa proseso ng preliminary investigation ay mabibigyang pagkakataon pa ang mga PhilHealth officials na ipagtanggol ang kanilang sarili.
Ani Perete, ang reklamo ay maaring isampa sa Office of the Ombudsman o kaya naman ay sa piskalya.
Kabilang sa inirekomendang masampahan ng reklamo ay sina Perete, dating President Ricardo Morales, senior Vice President Jovita Aragona, officer-in-charge Calixto Gabuya Jr., SVP Renato Limsiaco, SVP Israel Francis Pargas, COO Arnel de Jesus, at division chief Bobby Crisostomo.
