Pangulong Duterte inaprubahan ang pagsasampa ng kaso laban kay dating PhilHealth Pres. Morales, iba pang matataas na opisyal

Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon na inilabas ng Task Force PhilHealth na nagsagawa ng imbestigasyon sa mga anomalya sa ahensya.

Sa kaniyang televised speech, Lunes (Sept.14) ng gabi, binasa ng pangulo ang bahagi ng rekomendasyon ng Task Force.

Batay sa rekomendasyon pinasasampahan ng kaso ang mga opisyal ng ahensya dahil sa paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act at Revised Penal Code.

Sinabi ng pangulo na sasailalim sa paglilitis ang mga opisyal.

Ayon naman kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, kabilang sa sasampahan ng kasong kriminal at administratibo ay sina dating President Ricardo Morales, senior Vice President Jovita Aragona, officer-in-charge Calixto Gabuya Jr., SVP Renato Limsiaco, SVP Israel Francis Pargas, COO Arnel de Jesus, at division chief Bobby Crisostomo.

Inirekomenda din ng Task Force kay Pangulong Duterte na paalalahan at pagsabihan si Health Francisco Duque III at iba pang ex-officio members ng PhilHealth board dahil sa “grave consequences of action or inaction.”
