Ayon sa Phivolcs, tumama ang lindol sa layong 29 kilometers Northwest ng Paluan dakong 6:13 ng gabi.
Tectonic ang origin nito at 32 kilometers ang lalim.
Hindi naman nagdulot ng pinsala ang lindol sa lugar.
Wala ring inaasahang aftershocks, ayon sa Phivolcs.
