21,000 kilo ng hindi rehistradong vape products at iba pa, sinira ng BOC

Sinira ng Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA ang 21 tonelada ng hindi ligtas at hazardous goods sa Trece Martires, Cavite.

Ayon sa ahensya, ang mga vape product ay na-import nang walang kaukulang permit mula sa Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).

Maliban dito, sinira rin ng BOC ang mga expired food supplies, dietary supplements, medicines, medical kits and devices at glutathione products na na-import nang wala ring FDA permit.

Kung hindi maitatapon nang maayos, maaari itong makaapekto sa kalusugan ng publiko.

Sinira rin ng ahensya ang ilang regulated items tulad ng animal feeds, cements, electrical items, bulbs and batteries na walang clearances mula sa Department of Agriculture (DA), Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) at Bureau of Product Standards (BPS).

Tiniyak naman ni District Collector Carmelita Talusan, na patuloy na magbabantay ang BOC NAIA upang maharang ang mga hindi ligtas na produkto.
