Anghel o Demonyo, pwedeng i-appoint ni Pangulong Duterte – Sen. Lacson

Kasama sa kapangyarihan ng pangulo ng bansa ang magtalaga ng kahit sino sa kahit anong posisyon sa gobyerno.

“Two words. Presidential prerogative. The President can appoint an angel, the President can appoint a devil. The President can appoint even Lucifer to any government post, basta presidential appointee,” sabi ni Lacson.

Komento ito ng senador sa pagtalaga ni Pangulong Duterte kay dating Police Col. Cezar Mancao II sa Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT).

Dating tauhan ni Lacson si Mancao sa nabuwag na Presidential Anti-Crime Commission (PACC) at sumabit ito sa pagpatay kay publicist Bubby Dacer at sa driver nitong si Emmanuel Corbito noong 2000.

Itinuro ni Mancao si Lacson na may kinalaman sa dalawang pagpatay at sinabi pa nito na pinagbalakan din siyang patayin ng kanyang dating amo.

Noong 2015, binawi ni Mancao ang kanyang pahayag at humingi ito ng paumanhin kay Lacson at kay dating Pangulong Joseph Estrada.

Sinabi ni Lacson na napatawad na niya si Mancao ngunit hindi niya ito makakalimutan.

Kamakailan ay naitalaga si Mancao bilang executive director ng Cybercrime Investigation and Coordination Center ng DICT.
