Bilang ng ridership sa apat na rail lines, umabot sa 13.30 milyon

Umabot sa mahigit 13.30 milyon ang bilang ng ridership ng apat na rail lines, ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr).

Ayon sa kagawaran, ito ay naitala simula noong June 1 hanggang September 6.

Sa datos ng DOTr, nasa 13,302,752 ang ridership ng Light Rail Transit Line 1 at 2, Metro Rail Transit Line 3 at Philippine National Railways.

Narito ang bilang ng ridership sa mga sumusunod na rail lines mula June 1 hanggang August 31:
LRT-1 – 6,291,097
LRT-2 – 1,836,490
MRT-3 – 3,239,501
PNR – 928,763

Narito ang bilang ng ridership sa mga sumusunod na rail lines mula September 1 hanggang 6:
LRT-1 – 453,397
LRT-2 – 140,752
MRT-3 – 333,477
PNR – 79,275

Matatandaang nagkaroon ng temporary shutdown ang MRT-3 mula July 7 hanggang 12 matapos magpositibo sa COVID-19 ang ilang tauhan ng tren.

Nawalan din ng operasyon nang muling ipatupad ang modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) sa Metro Manila mula August 4 hanggang 18.
