Immigration Bureau sablay sa offloading ng 7 Pinoy ayon kay Sen. Joel Villanueva

Pinuna ni Senator Joel Villanueva ang pagpigil ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration sa pitong Filipino nurses na patungo na sa kanilang trabaho sa United Kingdom noong nakaraang araw ng Linggo.

Sinabi ni Villanueva ang insidente ay pagpapakita at pagpapatunay lang na magulo ang ilang polisiya ng gobyerno at ang mamamayan ang naapektuhan.

Kasabay nito ang panawagan ng senador sa DOLE na ayusin agad gusot para hindi na maulit sa ibang Filipino healthcare workers ang nangyari.

Diin nito, malinaw naman na maaring makaalis ng bansa ang mga healthcare workers na nakakuha ng kontrata bago ang Marso 8 at hindi isyu kung kailan nila natanggap ang kanilang visa.

Pagdidiin ni Villanueva mali ang interpretasyon ng Immigration Bureau sa deployment ban base na rin sa ipinalabas na memo ng kagawaran noong Agosto 20.

Muli ding inihirit nito ang pagbawi na sa deployment ban sa Filipino healthcare workers dahil marami sa kanila ang breadwinner ng pamila at gumastos na rin para sa pagta trabaho nila sa ibang bansa.
