4 na Nigerian, 1 Pinay na suspek sa P167-million cyber heist sa UCPB naaresto ng NBI

Naaresto na ng mga tauhan ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang ilang Nigerian nationals na suspek sa P167-million cyber heist sa United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB) na nangyari noong June 12 Independence Day long weekend.

Sa ulat ng INQUIRER, sinalakay ng mga ahente ng NBI ang isang condominium unit sa Muntinlupa City matapos ang ilang araw na surveillance.

May sinalakay ding dalawang condominium units sa Solano Hills residential development sa Sucat, Muntinlupa City.

Naaresto sa magkahiwalay na raid ang apat na Nigerians at isang Pinay.

May mga nakumpiska ding digital devices at mga pinekeng dokumento.

Sa ginawang imbestigasyon, inamin ng Pinay na suspek na nagsimula ang grupo na mag-withdraw mula sa mga bangko buwan ng Hunyo.

Wala namang narecover na cash mula sa mga suspek.
