Lanao del Sur at Bacolod City isinailalim sa MECQ simula ngayong araw
Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force na isailalim sa modified enhanced community quarantine ang Lanao del Sur at Bacolod City mula September 8 hanggang 30, 2020.
Ito ay dahil sa tumataas ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa dalawang nabanggit na lugar.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, aprubado rin ang hiling ng Region VI, Iligan, at Lanao del Sur na suspendihin muna ang inbound travel ng mga locally stranded individuals.
Sa meeting kagabi sa Malakanyang, sinabi ni Heath Secretary Francisco Duque na 462 na bagong kaso ang naitala sa Bacolod City sa loob lamang ng apat na araw.
Inaprubahan din aniya ng IATF ang paggamit antigen test bilang substitute sa RT-PCR bilang pre-boarding requirement para sa mga asymptomatic domestic tourists.
