DPWH, nai-turnover na ang Carmona Mega Isolation Facility

Matagumpay nang nakumpleto ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at nai-turnover ang Carmona Mega Isolation Facility sa Cavite.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, layon nitong mapangalagaan ang mga pasyenteng apektado ng COVID-19 sa Carmona at iba pang parte ng Calabarzon.

Aabot sa 151 ang bed capacity ng nasabing healthcare facility.

Makakatulong din ang pasilidad para ma-decongest ang mga ospital bilang bahagi ng mga hakbang ng gobyerno sa paglaban sa COVID-19 pandemic.

Pormal na nai-turnover ni Undersecretary Emil Sadain, pinuno ng Task Force to Facilitate Augmentation of National and Local Health Facilities, ang pasilidad kay Carmona Mayor Roy Loyola.

Binati naman ni Loyola ang paghihirap, dedikasyon at collaborative efforts ng DPWH sa mga local government unit sa gitna ng kinakaharap na krisis.

Sa ngayon, ayon kay Sadain, mayroon nang 602 COVID-19 facilities na may 23,000 bed capacity sa buong bansa kung saan 340 ang kumpleto na habang 262 ang matatapos sa September at October.
