Nagpaabot ng pakikiramay si Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar sa naulilang pamilya ni Barili Mayor Marlon Garcia.
Inanunsyo ni Cebu Governor Gwen Garcia na pumanaw na ang kanyang kapatid na si Mayor Marlon, Linggo ng umaga, (September 6) matapos pumanaw ang isa pa niyang kapatid na si Dumanjog Mayor Nelson Garcia noong September 1.
Noong nakaraang buwan lamang, inanunsyo ni Governor Gwen na positibo sa COVID-19 si Mayor Marlon.
“Throughout the years as former chief executives of their respective local government units, they were instrumental towards the development of the municipalities of Dumanjog and Barili and that of its citizens,” pahayag ni Andanar.
Panalangin ni Andanar na sumalangit nawa ang kaluluwa ng magkapatid na Garcia.
“We pray for the eternal repose of their souls and that their families find strength in this time of grief,” pahayag ni Andanar.
