Tiniyak ng Phivolcs na walang tsunami threat sa Pilipinas matapos tumama ang magnitude 6.5 na lindol sa Vanuatu, Linggo ng umaga.
Sinabi ng ahensya na yumanig ang malakas na lindol sa nasabing lugar dakong 10:59 ng umaga (oras sa Pilipinas).
May lalim ang lindol na 10 kilometers.
Sa ngayon, wala pang napapaulat kung may naidulot na pinsala ang pagyanig sa nasabing lugar.
