3rd quarter earthquake drill, gagawin na lang online
Magsasagawa na lang ang NDRRMC ng activities bilang suporta sa 3rd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill sa Setyembre 8.
Sa new normal na quake drill, idadaan na lang sa Facebook Live streaming ang ceremonial pressing of button bilang senyales na kailangan nang isagawa ang ‘duck, cover, hold’ alas-2 ng hapon.
Hinikayat ni NDRRMC Exec. Dir. Ricardo Jalad ang publiko na panoorin ang live stream at gawin ang quake drills sa loob ng kanilang bahay.
“Despite our current situation, we must bear in mind the importance of keeping ourselves safe. I encourage the public to continuously engage in activities that promote earthquake safety. In our constant effort to promote disaster resilience, everyone’s involvement is necessary,” ang pahayag ng NDRRMC.
Bukod dito, sa Setyembre 7 ay magkakaroon ng online quiz bee.
Sa araw mismo ng quake drill ay tampok din ang webinar ukol sa earthquake preparedness and response at ang mga resource persons ay mula sa DOST at DILG.
