Globe nakakuha ng permits para sa pagtatayo ng cells sites sa maraming lugar sa bansa
Naaprubahan na ang 26 na permits ng Globe para makapagtayo ng cell sites sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Northern at Southern Luzon, Visayas at sa Mindanao.
Ayon sa pahayag ng Globe, may aprubado na ang kanilang permits para makapagtayo ng cell sites sa Sto. Domingo, Agoo at Vigan sa Ilocos Sur, gayundin sa Sto. Tomas at sa Batangas City sa Batangas.
Sa Visayas naman, may permit na rin ang Globe para sa itatayong cell towers sa Toledo City, Cebu gayundin sa Butuan City sa Agusan Del Norte; Pagadian City sa Zamboanga del Sur at Cagayan De Oro City sa Misamis Oriental.
Nagpasalamat naman ang Globe sa suporta ng local government units sa mabilis na pag-apruba sa permits.
Ayon kay Joel Agustin, Globe Senior Vice President for Program Development, Network Technical Group, malaking tulong ito ngaong panahon ng pandemya para mas mapagserbisyuhan pa ang mga residente na nangangailangan ng network connection.
“As we have pointed out many times in the past, Globe is an ally of LGUs, especially during this time of the pandemic, as they look for ways to better serve their constituents in the new normal. More importantly, our network expansion will only push through as long as our partnership with them continues to remain strong and will be of great benefit to the public in general,” ani Agustin.
Sinabi ng Globe na mayroong 25 LGUs sa bansa na inalis na ang “Sanggunian Bayan resolution” bilang isa sa mga requirement para network expansion ng mga telco.
Dati ay kailangang makapagpasa muna ng Sanggunian Bayan resolution para mabigyan ng permit ang pagtatayo ng isang cell site.
