Mga OFW na nagba-backout sa mass repatriation program isasailalim sa blacklist

Inabisuhan ng embahada ng Pilipinas sa Lebanon ang mga Pinoy doon na hindi sila dapat biglaang nagba-backout sa mass repatriation program ng pamahalaan.

Ayon sa embahada, ang chartered flights at commercial flights sa ilalim ng Free Voluntary Mass Repatriation Program ay pinopondohan gamit ang buwis ng mamamayang Filipino.

Dahil dito, ang pag-backout o pag-atras kapag naaprubahan na ang repatriation at nabayaran na ang ticket ay malaking pagsasayang ng pondo.

Ginawa ng embahada ang pahayag dahil may ilang Pinoy ang biglang nagba-backout o hindi na lang sumisipot sa mismong araw ng flight.

Dahil dito, lahat ng nag-backout at no-show sa kanilang flights sa ilalim ng libreng Voluntary Mass Repatriation Program ay isasailalim na sa blacklist.

Hindi na sila makakasamang muli sa mga susunod pang chartered flights ng embahada.
