PNP, may 50 bagong light transport vehicles

Mayroong bagong 50 light transport vehicles ang Philippine National Police (PNP).

Sa bisperas ng kaniyang ika-56 kaarawan, personal na nasaksihan ni PNP Chief Police General Archie Gamboa ang blessing at turnover ceremony ng P64.55 milyong halaga ng mobility assets sa Camp Crame, Quezon City, araw ng Martes, September 1.

Iprinisinta kay Gamboa ni Director of Comptrollership, Police Major General Marni Marcos, tumatayong chairman ng NHQ-Bids and Awards Committee, ang mga bagong sasakyan.

Nagmula ang P64,555,000 pondo sa Capability Enhancement Program (CEP) 2020.

Sinabi ni Marcos na ipakakalat ang bagong mobility assets sa Command Group, D-Staff, National Support Units, Office of the Secretary of Interior and Local Government, PNP Peace Process and Development Center, Philippine National Police Academy, at Philippine National Police Training Institute upang paigtingin ang administrative capabilities.

Maliban kay Gamboa, dumalo rin sa seremonya ang mga miyembro ng Command Group, Acting Director for Logistics, Police Brig. Gen. Angelito Casimiro, at mga miyembro ng Procuring Entity.

Sinabi ni Gamboa na ang karagdagang assets ay bahagi ng nagpapatuloy na hakbang ng kanilang hanay at ng gobyerno para sa modernization program ng PNP.
