Eastern Visayas hindi muna tatanggap ng uuwing residente

Isinara muna ng mga lalawigan sa Eastern Visayas ang kanilang borders para sa mga pauwing residente.

Kasunod ito ng pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa rehiyon.

Sa abiso ng Department of the Interior and Local Government – Eastern Visayas (DILG-8), wala munang papayagang umuwing residente.

Ang mga locally stranded individuals na nakatakdang bumalik sa kani-kanilang lalawigan ay pinapayuhang huwag munang tumuloy.

Kabilang sa magpapatupad ng pagsasara ng borders ang mga lalawigan ng Leyte, Southern Leyte, Biliran, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar at Samar.

Karamihan sa mga naitatalang bagong kaso ng COVID-19 sa rehiyon ay pawang LSIs.

Sabado nakapagtala ang Eastern Visayas ng 205 na dagdag na mga bagong kaso.

Ito na ang biggest single-day tally sa rehiyon simula nang mag-umpisa ang pandemya.
