Mga Katoliko, hinimok ng CBCP na mag-alay ng panalangin para sa medical workers

Hinihimok ng pamunuan ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) ang mga Katolikong mananampalataya na mag-alay ng panalangin para sa mga medical professional.

Ayon kay CBCP President Bishop Pablo Virgilio David, marapat lamang na ipagdasal ang mga medical professional dahil sa sakripisyo na ibinibigay matugunan lamang ang pandemya sa COVID-19.

Ayon kay Bishop David, dapat na ialay ang panalangin at tribute sa mga medical professional kasabay ng paggunita sa National Heroes’ Day sa Lunes, August 31.

Base sa talaan ng Department of Health (DOH), umabot na sa 217,396 ang confirmed COVID-19 cases sa bansa at 3,520 ang nasawi.
