Mga opisyal ng Philhealth na isinasangkot sa katiwalian, pinagbibitiw na rin sa puwesto
Hinikayat ni House Deputy Majority Leader at Bagong Henerasyon Rep. Bernadette Herrera ang ibang mga opisyal ng PhilHealth na isinasangkot sa katiwalian na mag-resign na.
Dapat aniyang gayahin ng mga ito sina PhilHealth President and CEO Ricardo Morales at Senior Vice President for legal Sector Rodolfo del Rosario Jr.
Sabi ni Herrera, welcome sa kanya ang pagbibitiw na ginawa ng dalawang opisyal.
Umaasa si Herrera na ang resignation nila Morales at del Rosario ay maging hudyat para simulan ang “honest-to-goodness” na paglilinis sa loob ng state health insurer.
Kung magbibitiw aniya sa pwesto ang lahat ng officers na idinawit sa korapsyon ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang bagong set ng mga opisyal na maglatag ng reporma sa PhilHealth tungo sa patas na access sa de kalidad at abot-kayang health care services sa mga Filipino.
