Abu Sayyaf sub-leader, natimbog sa Zamboanga Sibugay
Naaresto ng mga pulis ang isang sub-leader ng Abu Sayyaf Group sa Mabuhay, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Kinilala ni Region 9 police director Brig. Gen. Jesus Cambay Jr., ang naaresto na si Jamiul Nassalon, 41-anyos, na gumagamit ng mga alyas na “Ustad Amih,” “Abu Harris,” “Abu Janar” at “Abu Jamih.”
Natunton ito sa kanyang safehouse sa Barangay Caliran bandang 4:00 ng madaling araw.
Isinilbi sa kanya ang warrants of arrest para sa mga kasong serious illegal detention with ransom, multiple attempted murder at attempted murder.
Sinabi ni Cambay na si Nassalon ang itinuturong utak sa pagdukot at pagpugot sa isang Doroteo Gonzales noong 2009 sa Barangay Buenavista, Zamboanga City.
Isinasangkot din siya sa pambobomba sa bus terminal sa Guiwan, sa nasabi din lungsod noong 2012.
