Itinanghal na Defensive Player of the Year ng NBA si Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Nakatanggap si Antetokounmpo ng 75 first-place votes at 432 points sa isinagawang balloting sa pagitan ng panel na binubuo ng 100 sportswriters at broadcasters.
Pumangalawa sa botohan si power forward Anthony Davis ng Los Angeles Lakers.
At ikatlo si Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert.
Si Gobert ang may hawak ng naturang award sa nagdaang dalawang seasons ng NBA.
