Dating CBCP President, Archbishop Oscar Cruz pumanaw na

Pumanaw na sa edad na 85 si dating Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) president Oscar Cruz.

Si Cruz ay dati ring Archbishop ng Lingayen-Dagupan.

Sa impormasyon na nakuha ng Radyo INQUIRER mula sa CBCP news, pumanaw si Cruz dahil sa matagal na nitong karamdaman kaninang alas 6:45 ng umaga sa Cardinal Santos Hospital.

Si Cruz ay kilala sa pagiging hayag nito at pagpuna sa iba’t ibang usapin sa lipunan.

Sinusubaybayan din ng marami ang kaniyang column sa CBCP news na “Views and Points” kung saan doon niya inihahayag ang kaniyang mga punto sa iba’t ibang usapin sa bansa.
