Rekomendasyon ng Philippine Army na isailalim sa martial law ang Sulu province, suportado ng PNP

Suportado ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Archie Gamboa ang rekomendasyon ng Philippine Army na isailalim sa martial law ang buong Sulu province.

Inirekomenda ito ni Philippine Army Chief Lt. Gen. Cirilito Sobejana matapos ang naganap na dalawang pagsabog sa Jolo, araw ng Lunes, August 24.

“This will allow the military and police more operational flexibility to carry out law enforcement operations against domestic threat groups in the area,” pahayag ng PNP chief.

Pinakilos na rin ni Gamboa ang Philippine Bomb Data Center (PBDC) at Crime Laboratory para maging technical support sa ginagawang imbestigasyon sa insidente.

Sinabi ni Gamboa na aalamin ng PBDC analysts kung anong bomb signature ang pinasabog base sa nakuhang forensic evidence ng Crime Laboratory at iba pang security forces na rumesponde sa insidente.

Paliwanag nito, ang makukuhang bomb signature ay ikukumpara sa bomb signatures mula sa iba pang insidente na nasa PBDC database.

Sa pamamagitan nito, posible aniyang madetermina kung anong grupo o indibidwal ang nasa likod ng dalawang pagsabog.
