320 na kilo ng Peking duck nasabat sa Tondo, Maynila

Nasabat ang nasa 320 kilo ng Peking duck sa Tondo, Maynila.

Ito ay kasabay ng isinagawang routine inspection ng Veterinary Inspection Board (VIB) Meat Enforcement Squad sa bahagi ng Jiaram Enterprises, Juan Luna Street, araw ng Martes, August 25.

Nagmula ang mga nakuhang produkto sa bansang Tsina.

Ayon kay VIB Director Dr. Nicanor Santos Jr., tinatayaang aabot sa P70,000 ang halaga ng peking duck.

Nagpaalala naman si Santos sa mga negosyante na tiyaking may mga kaukulang permit ang mga ibinebentang karne sa Maynila.

“Tuloy lang po tayo sa pag-iikot. Kahit po gaano kaliit o kalaki ang establisyimento, wala po tayong palalampasin para sa kaligtasan ng bawat Manileño,” pahayag ni Santos.

Mahaharap ang tindahan kung saan nakuha ang peking duck sa kasong paglabag sa Food Safety Act 10611 Memo Order no. 6 Series of 2019.
