Ex-NCMH official, 6 pa inasunto sa QC ‘ambush slay case’

Nahaharap sa kasong two counts of murder si dating National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) Chief Administrator Clarita Avila kaugnay sa pagkakapatay kay NCMH Director Roland Cortez at sa driver nitong si Ernesto dela Cruz sa Quezon City noong nakaraang July 27.

Sinabi ni Quezon City Police Director Ronnie Montejo, bukod kay Avila, kasama rin sa asunto sina George Serrano, Harly Pagarigan, Roman Eugenio, Sonny Sandicho, Ma. Cristina Riego Dela Cruz, at Edieson Riego.

Dahil nasampahan na ng mga kaso ang mga itinuturing na may kinalaman sa pagpatay, ayon kay Montejo, ikinokonsidera na nilang ‘solved’ ang kaso.

Aniya, isinampa nila ang kaso base sa mga ebidensiya na nakalap ng kanilang Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit.

Sinasabi na hindi maganda ang relasyon nina Cortez at Avila.

Noong Abril, inilipat si Avila sa Las Piñas Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center matapos isapubliko ang sitwayson ukol sa COVID-19 cases sa NCMH.

Sinabi ni Avila na ang pagtanggal sa kanya sa NCMH ay bunga ng kanyang expose at gag order sa kanya ni Cortez.
