PNP ipinag-utos na ang pagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa pagsabog sa Jolo, Sulu
Ipinag-utos na ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Archie Gamboa ang pagsasagawa ng imbestigasyon sa naganap na pagsabog sa Jolo, Sulu Lunes ng umaga, August 24.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Police Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac na inatasan ni Gamboa ang PRO BAR sa pangunguna ni Police Brig. Gen. Manuel Abu sa pag-secure sa lugar at pag-iimbestiga sa insidente para mahuli ang mga responsable sa pagsabog.
Batay sa ipinadalang inisyal na ulat, dalawang pagsabog ang naganap sa bisinidad ng Paradise Food sa Barangay Walled City at sa kabilang kalye.
Sinabi ni Banac na agad rumesponde ang mga tauhan ng Jolo Municipal Police Station sa pinangyarihan ng pagsabog.
“Elements of Jolo Municipal Police Station immediately responded to the scene to evacuate the casualties of the said explosion and ensure the safety of other residents for possible secondary device/s,” ani Banac.
Sa ngayon, patuloy pang inaalam ang bilang ng mga biktima ng pagsabog.
