Pagpapatupad ng COVID-19 lockdown ng pulisya sa Peru nagresulta sa stampede, 13 ang patay

Nauwi sa stampede ang pagpapairal ng lockdown sa Peru na hakbang ng pamahalaan doon para maawat ang paglaganap ng COVID-19.

Labingtatlo ang nasawi nang salakayin ng mga otoridad ang party na nagaganap sa Thomas Disco sa Lima, Peru.

Ang nasabing party ay dinadaluhan ng 120 katao.

Ayon sa Interior Ministry Office ng Peru, nang dumating ang mga pulis, nag-unahang tumakas ang mga tao sa nag-iisang daanan ng establisyimento dahilan para magkaroon ng stampede.

Umabot naman sa 23 katao ang inaresto at ikinulong.

Umabot na sa 27,500 na katao ang naitatalang nasawi sa Peru dahil sa COVID-19.
