“Courage at patriotism” ni Ninoy Aquino dapat tularan ayon kay Pangulong Duterte
Hinikayat ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang publiko na tularan ang “courage” at “patriotism” na mayroon si dating Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino.
Mensahe ito ng pangulo kasabay ng paggunita ngayong araw ng ika-37 death anniversary ni Aquino.
Sinabi ng pangulo na ngayong may pandemya na kinakaharap ang bansa, lahat ay maaring maging bayani kung magpapakita ng disiplina, goodwill at social responsibility.
“As this important occasion is remembered during this time that we are facing a global public health crisis, may we emulate Ninoy’s courage and patriotism so we may all be heroes through acts of discipline, goodwill, and social responsibility,” ayon sa pangulo.
Nanawagan din ang pangulo sa publiko na makiisa sa pamahalaan upang malabanan ang COVID-19 pandemic.
“I call on everyone to cooperate and work with the government so that we may keep ourselves, our families and our communities safe. May we also generously share our resources to those who have less in life during these trying times,” dagdag pa ng pangulo.
