Palasyo, ipauubaya na kay Sec. Duque kung magsasagawa ng ‘soul searching’
Ipinauubaya na ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang kay Health Secretary Francisco Duque III kung magsasagawa ito ng soul searching.
Pahayag ito ng Palasyo sa gitna ng sunud-sunod na kontrobersiya na kinasasangkutan ni Duque kung saan ang pinakahuli ay ang anomalya sa PhilHeath.
Ayon kay Roque, sa ngayon ay buo pa naman ang trust at confidence ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Duque.
Pero bagamat buo pa ang trust at confidence, binigyang diin ni Roque na tuloy pa rin naman ang imbestigasyon ng Senado at binuong task force ng Department of Justice (DOJ) sa anomalya sa PhilHealth.
“He does because if he has ceased to have the President’s trust and confidence, then Secretary Duque would no longer be in office because all Cabinet members serve at the pleasure of the President. In any case, the ongoing investigation in the Senate is about PhilHealth and the President himself has created a task force to address the many issues,” pahayag ni Roque.
