Isinugod sa ospital si Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.
Ito ay inanunsiyo ng kaniyang misis na si Bacoor, Cavite Mayor Lani Mercado-Revilla sa pamamagitan ng Facebook post.
Ayon sa alkalde, lumabas sa X-ray examination na nag-develop ang pneumonia sa senador.
“Father God pls help my husband. He is being rushed to the hospital. His latest X-ray shows that he has developed pneumonia and isolation in a regular facility is no longer ideal. Hospital care badly needed. Father we lift him up to you,” pahayag ng alkalde.
Noong August 9, 2020 nang ianunsiyo ng senador na positibo siya sa COVID-19.
