Mga manggagawa dapat regular na ipasailalim sa swab test

Regular dapat na naisasailalim sa swab tests ang mga empleyado ayon sa Department of Labor and Employment o DOLE.

Sinabi ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III dapat walang gastusin sa gagawing tests ang mga empleyado at ang pagsailalim nila sa swab test ay sasagutin ng Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth).

Sa ilalim ng joint memorandum ng DOLE at ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), required na sumailalim sa regular real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) tests ang mga manggagawa sa tourist zones, manufacturing companies, transport at logistics, food retail, education at financial services.

Required ding magpasailalim sa tests ang mga nagtatrabaho sa palengke, construction, water supply, sewerage, waste management, at mga sa media.

Sa ilalim ng inilabas na guidelines ang mga nagtatrabaho sa hospitality and tourism industries sa El Nido, Boracay, Coron, Panglao, Siargao at iba pang tourist zones na tinukoy ng Department of Tourism ay dapat i-test kada buwan.

Quarterly naman dapat ang testing sa mga empleyado sa manufacturing companies at public service providers sa economic zones na nasa special concern areas.

Ang nasa Front-line at economic priority workers sa public at private sectors na may mataas na exposure sa publiko sa mga lugar na itinuturing na special concern areas ay dapat ding ipasailalim sa test quarterly.

Sa nasabing guidelines din nakasaad ang mandatory na pagsusuot ng protective masks at face shields ng mga manggagawa.
