Sec. Eduardo Año, muling nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Kinumpirma mismo ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año na muli siyang nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng kalihim na nakaranas siya ng flu-like symptoms tulad ng sore throat at pananakit ng katawan noong August 13.

Nagsimula aniya siyang sumailalim sa self-quarantine matapos dumaan sa PCR test noong August 14

Sabado ng gabi, August 15, nang matanggap aniya niya ang resulta na positibo siya muli sa nakakahawang sakit.

Sa ngayon, sinabi ni Año na mahigpit siyang tinututukan ng mga doktor habang naka-isolate.

Aniya, ginawa niya ang anunsiyo para ipaalam sa lahat ng kaniyang nakasalamuha na sumailalim din sa self-quarantine, bantayan kung makakaranas ng sintomas at sundin ang DOH guidelines.

“I also make this announcement to emphasize the severity of the virus, and to encourage everyone to wear a mask, wash their hands frequently, and practice social distancing. By adhering to these guidelines, we can all help keep our loved ones and our community safe,” sinabi pa ni Año.

Matatandaang March 31, 2020 nang unang tinamaan ng COVID-19 ang kalihim at nagnegtibo noong Abril.
